CCTV picture released following double stabbing

Police investigating a seemingly unprovoked assault on two men in west London have released the image of a man they want to speak to.

Officers were called at 11:19pm on Sunday, 11 July to reports of a stabbing near the junction of Willow Tree Lane and Reynolds Road in Hayes.

Two 21-year-old men were found with stab injuries. They were taken to hospital where they remain in a stable condition.

It was reported that the men were walking along Willow Tree Lane with a third person when they were confronted by a man who was not known to the group.

They became involved in an argument and the attacker subsequently assaulted the two men before leaving the area in the direction of Yeading Lane.

Officers from the local policing team in west London are investigating and have reviewed a large amount of CCTV from the area.

They are releasing an image of a man they would like to speak to who officers believe could have important information about the incident.
