Boy taken to hospital following traffic incident

Officers from Merseyside Police are appealing for witnesses following a road incident in Walton today, Wednesday 14 July.

At around 4.05pm, emergency services were called to Emery Street after reports that a red Renault Clio had been in a collision with a three-year-old boy.

The child has been taken to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital for treatment on injuries which are not life-threatening.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisting police with the investigation.
