Prior to the incident, at approximately 5pm, the victim visited a shop in the area to purchase alcohol. On the way home, he was followed through an underpass by a group of four unknown people, three males and one female.
The victim remembers engaging with the group however, his next memory relates to waking up in hospital.

“We have carried out a number of enquiries to track down those responsible and we are now asking for the public’s help. The man we wish to identify is of large build, approximately in his 30s, wearing a black tracksuit top, trousers and a grey baseball cap.”
