Police are appealing for help to identify and trace a man they want to speak with in connection with a sexual assault.
On Sunday, 29 November, at approximately 3:15am, a man sexually assaulted a woman at a hotel in Paddington.
The man also hit the victim, causing her to lose consciousness momentarily.
Following the assault, the suspect ran out of the room and left the hotel.
The victim immediately called police and was taken to hospital for treatment. Her injuries were not life threatening.
The suspect is described as black man, around 6ft tall, of medium build, with receding short curly hair and brown eyes, light to mid-complexion, slight beard and moustache, appears to be aged mid to late 20s.
At the time of the incident the man was wearing a black cap, black and grey striped scarf, dark blue hooded jacket, dark blue jeans, black trainers.
