Police name woman who died in road collision

The Metropolitan Police have named a woman who died in a collision in Worcester Park.

Officers were called at around 8.55am on 7 April to reports of a road traffic collision on the A24 London Road at its junction with Tudor Avenue and Palmer Avenue.

Rachel Brown, 25, was riding her bicycle when she was in collision with two vehicles.

Despite the efforts of the police, London Ambulance Service and members of the public, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

A statement from the police says: “No other persons were injured. All parties involved remained at the scene. There has been no arrest.

“Any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage are asked to call the Serious Collision Investigation unit on 020 8543 5157 or contact via Twitter @MetCC quoting CAD 1576.”
