Puppy stolen in burglary

Detectives are appealing for information after a puppy was stolen during a burglary in Coventry.

Officers have released footage of the pet being carried away in a bag by the thief.

The young pup named Tyson was taken from an address in Rafferty Adams Way, in Longford, around 11am on 6 January along with an engagement ring, clothing and jewellery.

Detectives are keen to hear from anyone who has information about the break-in and who was responsible.

DC Mario Poleszak, from force CID, said: “The burglar was determined to get his hands on whatever he could taking sentimental items and stooping as low as taking a young pup.”
