Detectives investigating a fatal road traffic collision in Dagenham are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage.
Police were called at 3:22am today (Monday, 1 July) to reports of a collision at Ripple Road junction with the A13, Barking.
Emergency services attended and found a car in collision with street furniture.
The driver of the vehicle, a man believed to be aged 25, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A woman and another man from the vehicle were taken to hospital. Their injuries were not life threatening.
