An investigation has been launched after a fatal stabbing in Hackney.
Police were called to Somerford Grove, Hackney, at 8.54pm on Wednesday (1 May) to reports of a stabbing. Officers attended.
A boy, aged 15, was found with stab injuries. He was given emergency first aid by officers before paramedics from London’s Air Ambulance were called to the scene.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, he was pronounced dead at 9.49pm. His next of kin have been informed.
A second boy, aged 16, was found with stab injuries in Shacklewell Road. He has been taken to hospital. His injuries have been assessed as non life-threatening.
