Teenager killed in stabbing

A murder investigation has been launched after an 18-year-old man was fatally stabbed in Greenwich.

Police were called on Monday (22 October) at 9:25pm to a report of a disturbance in Armitage Road, SE10.

Officers attended and found an 18-year-old man suffering from a stab injury outside Collins House.

The London Ambulance Service were called; the man was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:03pm.

Detective Chief Inspector Richard Leonard leads. He said: “We know that several people reported seeing the victim in a confrontation with three other males on mopeds before an altercation in which he sustained his injuries.

“The males then rode away from the scene. I need anyone who may have information that could assist us to make contact as quickly as possible.”
