Police were called on 23 August 2017 to reports of a stabbing at the junction of Church Elm Lane and Siviter Way in Dagenham.

The victim was taken to an east London hospital where his condition was initially deemed as serious but stable.

Investigating officers identified Wade Clauzel  as a suspect involved in carrying out the stabbing.

He is known to have links throughout London, however officers believe he could have left the capital and may be in the south or south-east of the country.

Detective Constable Dean Meekcoms, who is leading the investigation, said: “Wade Clauzel armed himself on the day of the attack with the intention of causing serious harm to his victim. Soon after, we believe he fled London and now we need the public’s help to find him.

“Clauzel uses several different aliases and we believe he’s somewhere in the south or south-east. He’s extremely dangerous, so if you know where he is do not approach, but call 999 instead. He’s around 5ft 11in and of heavy build.”
