Man stabbed in the face

Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information after a man was stabbed in the face with a pair a pliers in Camden.

Police were called at 7:25pm on Sunday, 29 October to reports of an altercation outside a grocer’s shop called ‘Parkway Greens ‘ on Parkway, NW1.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and found a man, aged in his 20s, suffering from stab injuries. He was taken to a north London hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Two men, aged 28 [A] and 29 [B], were arrested in Parkway on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. Both men were taken to a north London hospital for treatment to minor injuries before being taken to a north London police station.

They have both been released under investigation pending enquiries.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone who has footage of the assault to come forward.

Detective Constable Dominic Brameld, the investigating officer, said: “There were lots of people in the area at the time of this incident and we understand some of the witnesses may have filmed the altercation on their mobile phones. We would urge anyone with footage to pass this onto the police so we can piece together what happened on Sunday evening.”
