Detectives from the Metropolitan Police are appealing for information following a violent attack in Woodford.
On Sunday, 22 October at 2:08am, police were called to a supermarket on George Lane.
A 30-year-old man was found unconscious and with head injuries after being attacked outside Marks & Spencer.
The London Ambulance Service attended and tookthe unconscious man to an east London hospital. He has since been discharged.
The suspect was seen to walk towards South Woodford Station before leaving in a grey car.
He is described as a black man, 5ft 7ins tall, with short hair that was longer on top. He was wearing a dark top and dark coloured jeans.
A group of teenagers – who were standing nearby – are believed to have recorded the attack on their phones.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to call the East Area Reactive Investigations Unit via 101 or tweet @MetCC.
