Detectives from Merseyside Police have issued CCTV images of two men they want to speak to following a distraction burglary.
At around 10am on Sunday 25 June, two men entered the Pied Bull public house on High Street, Newton-le-Willows.
One of the men caused a disturbance in the pub while the second man entered an office and stole a quantity of cash.
Officers have issued CCTV images of two men who they believe could assist with the investigation.
Detective Inspector Louise Birchall said: “We believe one of the men distracted staff by shouting about damage to a car in the car park while the second man went into the office and stole the cash.
“I would appeal to anyone who was in the vicinity of the High Street who saw anyone acting suspiciously or anyone who recognises either of the two men in the CCTV images to come forward.”
