Detectives are appealing for information after a teenager was wounded by a shot in Camden.
Police were called to a north London hospital just before 2am on Monday (17 July) after staff there treated a 17-year-old suffering a gunshot wound to his ankle.
His injuries were not life-threatening and he has since been discharged from hospital.
The victim told police that he sustained the injury as he cycled around Regents Park in Camden borough between 11:30pm and 12.30am that night. A bullet was later recovered from his foot.
It is believed that the shooting happened in or near Albany Street.
The Met’s Trident and Area Crime Command is investigating and want anyone with information to come forward.
