A man has been jailed for 20 months and disqualified from driving for four years after being found guilty of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Majinder Singh, aged 25, of Stormont Drive, Hayes was sentenced at Isleworth Crown Court.
The court heard how the driver Singh and three passengers had been on a night out in the Wembley area.
Officers were called to Iron Bridge, Southall, at approximately 5am on Saturday, 10 September 2016 to reports of a road traffic collision which injured three men.
A black Hyundai coupe was involved in a collision with two parked cars.
London Ambulance Service and London Fire Brigade also attended the scene.
The driver made off from the scene prior to the arrival of police leaving two of the occupants trapped inside, one of who received life threatening injuries.
Singh was subsequently arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
