Police have released CCTV stills of a man they wish to speak to following a report of an incident of indecent exposure on a bus in Liverpool.
Detectives want to trace the man after a teenage male passenger witnessed a man outraging public decency.
The incident is alleged to have taken place on the number 78 Arriva bus on Tuesday 7 March after the offender boarded the bus on London Road, near TJ Hughes.
Following the incident, which took place between 7.55am and 8.08am, the man got off the bus at the top of Wavertree Road.
The victim reported the incident to police and officers later obtained CCTV from the bus company.
Detective Constable Nicky Brenchley said: “This was a disturbing incident in which a teenager traveling to school with friends has been left shocked and disgusted.
“The bus would have been very busy at the time and I am sure someone will remember seeing this man or recognise him. We are keen to trace him so that we can speak to him and I would appeal to anyone who knows who he is to come forward.”
Anyone who recognises the man or has any information on the incident is asked to call police on 0151 777 4058 or Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
