Victim critically injured in shooting

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police’s Trident Gang and Area Crime Command are appealing for information and witnesses after a man was critically injured following a shooting in Greenwich.

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at approximately 6:35pm on Sunday, 13 November following reports of an injured man on Newmarsh Road, SE28.

Officers attended but there was no trace of any victim.

Police were subsequently called to a south London hospital after a man aged in his twenties self-presented with gunshot injuries.

He remains in a critical condition at this time.

Detectives from the Trident and Gang Crime Command are investigating.

There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
