A man has been jailed for more than seven years for raping a woman in Lewisham.
Rory Campbell, aged 25, and a shop worker, of Queens Road, SE15 was found guilty of rape at Woolwich Crown Court. He was sentenced to seven-and-a-half years’ imprisonment.
The 27-year-old victim had been drinking with friends in New Cross on the evening of 11 June 2015. They met up with a group of people they did not know, including Campbell, at a pub in New Cross, before moving on to a flat in Besson Street, SE14.

Campbell was identified by police, but went on the run.
He was arrested in February 2016, when he was found to be in possession of cocaine and a knife.
A trial commenced on Monday, 5 September at Woolwich Crown Court, where Campbell was found guilty.
In addition to his jail sentence, he will be on the Sex Offenders Register for life.
