Detectives from West Midlands Police have launched an investigation after shots were fired at an address in Aston in the early hours of Monday (30 May).
Officers say at around 3.30am it is believed several rounds were discharged at a house in Park Lane. They caused minor damage to the property but nobody was injured.
Officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious to come forward.
Detective Sergeant David Hammersley, from Force CID, said: “We believe this was a targeted crime intended to cause damage to the address and we don’t believe there is any wider risk to members of the public.
“Clearly gun crime is a high priority for us and we are working round the clock to identify the people responsible.
“Anyone with information should contact us on 101 as soon as possible.”
